Youth Galleries at Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International AirportSponsored by the Georgia Art Education Association and the Airport Art Authority ![]() GAEA has two galleries at the Hartsfield International Airport. The first consists of 40 frames and is located in the main terminal (T). This gallery opened in the summer of 1997. In December of 1998 a second terminal opened in the International terminal (E). This is a large space and consists of 70 frames. As a GAEA member you may have your students' art in both galleries. While art from K-12 is featured most of the year, college students may participate as well. Do remember each gallery has different size requirements, and justification! Read your specifications sheet carefully. Membership in the GAEA entitles you to participate. You do not have to be at a school. For example, you may teach private lessons. The art in both galleries is changed four times a year. The general dates of the shows are; Dec.-Feb., Mar.-May, June-August, Sept.-Nov. The exact dates vary according to when the art can be hung. The numbers of art works per teacher vary according to the response. After you sign up you will be notified of a date and sent forms to be used, or you may access the GAEA web site to see posted dates available, to access shows, and forms for art work.
