State Superintendent Cox asks GAEA to expand the Youth Art Gallery!

Over 300 artworks from Georgia elementary, middle, and high schools

will be on exhibition in the Georgia Department of Education offices.

One GAEA member and their student will be selected from each of the

13 U.S. Congressional Districts for special recognition in April.

 The steps are easy, and the paperwork is, too.

If selected, you will be notified by October 10, 2008 to bring your form

(with teacher and student information completed)

and student artwork to our table at the GAEA Fall Conference.

 

F I R S T A R T W O R K S will frame the art for your student

and it will hang in the Department of Education offices for the year.

Invitations will be sent in February, 2009to 13 teachers and students to represent

their districts at a recognition program and reception in April, 2009 in Atlanta.
